Invisalign Clear Aligners

What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an orthodontic system that straightens teeth with a series of ‘clear aligners’. Each aligner fits snugly on a patient’s teeth and applies orthodontic forces to move the teeth. Once the teeth have moved, which can take 1 – 2 weeks, the next aligner adjusts the teeth to the desired position. Commonly, the entire treatment will take a few months to a year. The advantages of clear aligners such as Invisalign include:

  • Daily hygiene advantage: aligners can be removed for brushing and flossing.
  • Esthetics: clear aligners are much more cosmetically appealing compared to traditional metal braces.
  • General Dentists who are certified can provide this treatment, which could potentially result in cost savings when compared to an orthodontic specialist’s fees

What Are The Benefits Of Invisalign?

The benefits of Smiles Dental Group Invisalign/Clear Aligners

The Clear Aligners technology that we use assists to straighten your teeth with a series of customized clear braces/transparent trays, which are practically invisible and comfortable. Here are some of the benefits of this system:

Customized

Aligners or Clear Aligners that we use for our patients are made to order for precise fitting. The trays are made just for you and will fit perfectly on your teeth set. Here at Smiles Dental Group, we believe that there is no one size fits all Invisalign® invisible braces. Thus, they are custom-made for each patient.

Comfortable

The braces are made from soft transparent/clear plastic for the purpose and don’t hurt your soft tissues at all. They are easy to wear, clean, and remove. Plus there are no brackets to poke or metal wires that can tear your gums and mouth.

Invisible

Clear aligners are practically invisible. So, you can smile confidently.

Is Invisalign Easy To Use?

Clear aligners have a blue dot wear Indicator that shows an estimate of wear time. The dot will lighten to clear over 2 weeks if you wear them properly. Also, you can take them out to brush and floss your teeth normally. In addition, you can eat anything just as you do without braces.
